About the Pillows

Trope |trop| - meaning to turn,
to direct one's attention towards,
to alter, to change.

I am attracted to wide range of color combinations, and use both vibrant and supportive colors in my work.  The sewing and embroidery on the pillows is elegant and refined, and the fabrication is all hand done by myself and my sewing employees here in Massachusetts. As I am designing each pillow, I have a vision in mind that culminates when I write the story and uplifting message that inspired that design.  You will find that story in the hidden, silver lined pocket on the front of the pillow, just behind the collage. 

Each delightful pillow is a unique creation and no two are ever exactly alike.  With the hidden inspired message, Trope pillows become treasured items of artistic beauty and personal transformation. Something you can "turn to" when you crave beauty and inspiration. They will brighten any bed, sofa or chair as well as uplift the thinking and inspire the heart.

• Fabric exterior includes re-purposed silk and taffeta; re-cycled saris, antique beads, donated ball gowns and accessories. Dry clean only.
